Submission Guidelines
Overwrought Press accepts unsolicited manuscripts in the following categories:
- Short Fiction (2,000-15,000 words)
- Novellas (15,000-40,000 words)
- Novels (60,000-120,000 words)
Formatting Requirements
Standard manuscript format: double-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman or similar serif font, 1-inch margins. Include a cover letter with your bio and publication history.
Response Time
We aim to respond within 90 days. Due to volume, we cannot provide individual feedback on declined submissions.
